Timothy Costello University College Award

To make your decision to invest in higher education just a bit easier, Adelphi University is pleased to announce the Timothy Costello University College Award for University College students.

Thirty years ago, Timothy Costello, who was the president of Adelphi University, supported the creation of the ABLE program to help working adults obtain their college degrees. The ABLE program evolved into University College, which has successfully graduated more than 7,000 students. The Costello Award will provide:

  • $2,000 per year for full-time students (12 or more credits)
  • $1,000 per year for part-time students (6–11 credits)

With the introduction of this new award program, almost $1,000,000 of federal, state, and institutional grants, as well as Adelphi scholarships, will be awarded to full-time and part-time undergraduate University College students.
