Admitted Students

Welcome. To a community of success.

Dear Student,

Congratulations on your acceptance to University College.

In addition to acknowledging your well-deserved achievement, I want to take this opportunity to assure you of our ongoing support and guidance as you take the next steps in the college enrollment process. This is a time of transition when you will be making important decisions about your future. We are here to help with the transition.

Once you’ve paid your tuition deposit, you’ll need to meet with your University College adviser to evaluate your transfer and life experience credits. You may register for classes and begin to earn credit during this process, but just for one term only. All application materials and credit evaluations must be completed in full before you are permitted to register for your second term.

Another important reason to connect with your adviser is to register for orientation and to learn about important dates and upcoming events.

Finally, talking face to face with a current Adelphi student is a great way to get started, and we’re happy to arrange this for you. You can also connect with fellow students on Facebook and Twitter.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Adelphi community. Again, congratulations on your acceptance to Adelphi!

Best Wishes,
Shawn O’Riley
Dean
