B.S. in Natural Sciences

If you’re interested in the fields of science or medicine, our Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences is the right path for you. It can be used as a preparation for advanced medical programs or lead directly to the following types of careers:

  • medical laboratory technician
  • medical researcher
  • science educator
  • medical professional

The B.S in Natural Sciences can also lead to graduate degrees in science, science education, public health, and medicine.

Candidates for the B.S. in Natural Sciences degree must have completed at least 120 credits, 60 of which must be in the liberal arts. The final 30 credits must be taken in graded course work at the University, and no more than 60 of total credits may be awarded from prior learning. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in their area of concentration and a minimum GPA of 2.0 from Adelphi overall.
