Where University College Students Learn

Adult students appreciate our convenient location and online courses.

Does this sound familiar? We thought so. And we work diligently to make our courses more accessible, more streamlined, and more convenient for you—while always maintaining the highest-quality educational standards for adult learners.

Garden City

Adelphi’s Garden City campus is home to University College, in addition to the these seven schools:

Located near Long Island’s parks and beaches, our 75-acre Garden City campus is only 45 minutes from New York City, offering the combined advantages of a major metropolitan area and a safe, suburban campus environment. Students in Garden City enjoy new and renovated arts and recreations centers, and their daily walk to class takes them through a registered arboretum—our campus. With eight colleges and a diverse student population, life on main campus is exciting, fresh, and connected.

Online

Many of our courses are also available online—either fully or in a blended format that incorporates some classroom experience on the Garden City campus. We utilize Moodle for online course work, a virtual learning environment that allows you to interact with professors and other students from the comfort of your home. Adult students often prefer these courses because of their accelerated pace and convenience. If your schedule is already full and you’re wondering how to get ahead, then you might be a perfect fit for online learning.
